Maybe add this function in this part of the file from the first patch,
so you don't need to move it in this series.

I think we can remove the 'type' parameter of
virtio_transport_send_credit_update() since
virtio_transport_send_pkt_info() will overwrite it.

These changes could go with the new patch to handle the type directly in
the virtio_transport_send_pkt_info().
